Entries shall be assessed against the evaluation criteria which are used to draw up the short-list. The entries shall also be assessed on the following:

•  Merit

•  The degree of technical innovation involved in the product

•  The actual or potential impact of the product on the market or end users

•  The originality of the prototype or product
